Check a Zoho CRM deal before you mark it Closed Won

The Zoho CRM AI Assistant checks a deal against the fields your team requires before it is won: amount, closing date, contact role, a quote or sales order, no overdue tasks. It lists what is missing and changes the stage only when you ask and approve.

Zoho CRM AI Assistant is a Chrome extension that opens beside Zoho CRM. Tell it what you want to do in plain language, and it works with your CRM for you. Try Plus free for 14 days, then stay on Free forever.

the problem

The deal is marked won, and half of it is empty

A rep moves the deal to Closed Won the moment the client says yes. The amount is last quarter’s estimate, no contact has a role, the sales order was never linked, and an overdue task still sits on it. Finance and the onboarding team pick it up and have to chase every missing piece.

the solution

Say what a won deal needs. See what is missing.

Tell the assistant what your team requires, or save it once as a team rule so you do not have to repeat it:

Check Warehouse renewal before I mark it won. We need amount, closing date, a contact with a role, a sales order and no overdue tasks.

The assistant reads the deal’s fields, its contact roles, its related Quotes or Sales Orders if your org uses them, and its open Tasks. It shows whether each check is met, with the detail.

The check itself changes nothing. If you then ask it to move the deal to Closed Won, it shows that change and writes it only after you approve.

  • Reads the deal, its contact roles, quotes, sales orders and tasks.
  • Writes nothing for the check; moves the stage only when you ask and approve.
  • It checks only what you list, or what your saved team rule lists; it does not know your process on its own.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will it change the deal?

Not during the check. It lists what is present and what is missing. It moves Stage to Closed Won only if you ask it to and approve the change.

How does it know what my team requires?

From your request, or from a team rule you saved with the assistant, such as "a won deal needs amount, closing date, a contact role and a sales order". Notes saved for the org are shared with colleagues on the same Zoho profile.

What does it read?

The deal’s fields, its contact roles, its related quotes or sales orders, and its open tasks. If you do not use quotes or sales orders, leave them out of the check; it checks only what you list.

Can it fill in what is missing?

It can propose values you give it, such as a new amount or a contact role, and write them after you approve. It does not guess missing values.

Can it be wrong?

It reads what your CRM holds. A sales order created in another system, or one not linked to the deal, shows as missing. Check the list before you act on it.

Will it work on my Zoho CRM edition?

It needs a Zoho CRM edition and user profile with API access, and it can only do what your profile is allowed to do. This use case has not been checked edition by edition yet, so write to us if you want to check yours first.
