The Zoho CRM AI Assistant shows who changed a deal’s stage, amount, owner or closing date and when, from the record’s audit timeline, with the source of each change. It only reads; nothing in your CRM changes.
Zoho CRM AI Assistant is a Chrome extension that opens beside Zoho CRM. Tell it what you want to do in plain language, and it works with your CRM for you. Try Plus free for 14 days, then stay on Free forever.
the problem
Last week the deal was at proposal and closing this month. Today it is at negotiation, the amount is lower, the closing date has moved, and the owner is someone else. You want to know who did it, when, and whether a person, a workflow or an integration made the change.
the solution
Name the deal and the fields you care about:
Who changed the stage, amount, owner or closing date on the Warehouse renewal deal, and when?
The assistant finds the deal and reads its audit timeline: the history Zoho CRM keeps of who changed which field, from what to what, and when. It keeps the fields you named and lists each change with the user and the source, such as a person in Zoho CRM, the API or a workflow rule.
It works the same on any record: a lead, contact, account, quote or a custom module. Ask “who changed the email on this contact?” with the record open and click “Use this page”.

use cases
“Prepare my one-on-one with Sam Becker. Show his open deals, what changed on them in the last two weeks, his overdue tasks, and deals with no next step.”
“Who changed the stage, amount, owner or closing date on the Warehouse renewal deal, and when?”
without the assistant
You can do this in Zoho CRM yourself. Here are the steps.
For one deal this is quick. It gets slow on a deal with a long history, where the four fields you care about are buried among every other edit.
faq
No. It reads the deal and its history. If you want to put a value back, ask for it separately; it shows the change and writes only after you approve.
The record you name and its audit timeline: each entry’s date, the user, the action, the source and the fields changed with old and new values.
Yes. Leads, contacts, accounts, quotes, tasks and custom modules all have an audit timeline. Name the record or open it and click “Use this page”.
How the change was made: by a person in Zoho CRM, through the API (an integration or import tool), or by a workflow rule. Each change also shows the user Zoho recorded for it.
It reports what Zoho recorded. It reads up to 200 timeline entries per request, so on a deal with a very long history the oldest changes may not be included: check the date of the oldest entry it shows. A deal with two similar names may match twice; it asks which one.
It needs a Zoho CRM edition and user profile with API access, and it can only do what your profile is allowed to do. This use case has not been checked edition by edition yet, so write to us if you want to check yours first.
