Pipeline totals, team task queues, who changed a deal and handing work over, from the records your team already keeps. The Zoho CRM AI Assistant answers in plain words and changes records only once you approve.
Zoho CRM AI Assistant is a Chrome extension that opens beside Zoho CRM. Tell it what you want to do in plain language, and it works with your CRM for you. Try Plus free for 14 days, then stay on Free forever.
the problem
The pipeline report shows totals by stage, but not which deals behind them have a passed closing date. Before a one-on-one you open a rep’s deals one by one. When someone goes on leave, their deals, tasks and calls need a new owner before Monday, and every question means another filter or another report.
the solution
The Zoho CRM AI Assistant is a Chrome extension that opens in a side panel next to Zoho CRM. You type the question, such as “open pipeline by stage and owner closing this quarter”. It reads your deals, tasks, meetings, calls, leads and each record’s change history, and shows you the answer.
When the answer calls for a change, such as moving a rep’s deals to a colleague or rescheduling overdue tasks, it shows the exact records and the change first, and writes nothing until you approve.

use cases
“Which deals are set to close this quarter? Show amount, probability and expected revenue, totals by owner, and flag deals whose closing date has passed or whose probability does not match the stage.”
“Review the deals we lost last quarter. Group them by loss reason, by the stage they were lost at and by owner, and list the ones with no reason recorded.”
“Show open deals closing this quarter by stage and by owner, with the deal count and total amount for each.”
faq
No. It answers one question at a time in the side panel, from the records in your CRM: a breakdown, a list, a change history. It does not build dashboards or charts, and it does not schedule reports. If you want to keep a list for the team, it can save it as a public custom view in Zoho CRM after you approve.
Your requests are not written into Zoho CRM; only the changes you approve are. If you save knowledge for the organization, such as your stage definitions or team rules, it is shared with colleagues on the same Zoho profile and used in their requests too.
Not unless you choose to. The side panel starts in Approve writes mode: it shows each change and writes nothing until you approve. Changing more than 20 records at once asks for a final confirmation. Chat-only mode blocks writes altogether, and Full access is opt-in.
No. It can only read and change what your Zoho profile allows. If your role cannot see another team’s deals, the totals it shows leave them out.
Yes. It works from what your CRM recorded, so a deal with an old closing date, a task nobody marked complete or a call nobody logged shows up as it is in the CRM. Review every list before you act on it or approve a change.
It needs a Zoho CRM edition and user profile with API access, and it can only do what your profile is allowed to do. These use cases have not been checked edition by edition yet, so write to us if you want to check yours first.
