Prepare a sales one-on-one from Zoho CRM

The Zoho CRM AI Assistant lists a rep’s open deals, what changed on them in the last two weeks, their overdue tasks and the deals with no next step, as talking points for your one-on-one. It only reads and writes nothing.

Zoho CRM AI Assistant is a Chrome extension that opens beside Zoho CRM. Tell it what you want to do in plain language, and it works with your CRM for you. Try Plus free for 14 days, then stay on Free forever.

the problem

The one-on-one starts with “so, where are we?”

You have a short slot with each rep. To come prepared you would open each of their deals, check what moved since the last meeting, and look for the ones with nothing planned. Most weeks there is no time, so the meeting starts with the rep reading their pipeline to you.

the solution

Ask for the prep, walk in with the list

Name the rep and the period:

Prepare my one-on-one with Sam Becker. Show his open deals, what changed on them in the last two weeks, his overdue tasks, and deals with no next step.

The assistant reads the rep’s open Deals, and for each one the changes in the period from its audit timeline: stage, amount, closing date and owner. It adds the rep’s overdue Tasks, and marks the deals with no open task, call or meeting planned.

It ends with a short list of talking points, one per deal that needs a conversation, such as a closing date moved twice or an amount that fell. The points are suggestions from the recorded data; you choose what to raise.

  • Reads the rep’s open deals, their audit timeline, and open tasks, calls and meetings.
  • Writes nothing. If you agree a next step in the meeting, ask for the task afterwards and approve it.
  • It shows only what was recorded: work the rep did but never logged is not there.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will it change the rep’s deals or tasks?

No. It reads and prepares a list. If you agree changes in the meeting, ask for them afterwards; each one is shown first and written only after you approve.

What does it read in my CRM?

The rep’s open deals with their stage, amount and closing date; each deal’s audit timeline for the period; the rep’s open tasks, calls and meetings.

What counts as no next step?

An open deal with no open task and no call or meeting scheduled. If your team plans next steps in a field instead, say which field in your request.

Can it be wrong?

It works from what the CRM recorded. A rep who keeps next steps in a calendar outside Zoho CRM looks as if they have none. The talking points are prompts, not a verdict on the rep.

Will the rep see that I prepared this?

Nothing is written to the rep’s records, so there is nothing new for them to see in Zoho CRM.

Will it work on my Zoho CRM edition?

It needs a Zoho CRM edition and user profile with API access, and it can only do what your profile is allowed to do. This use case has not been checked edition by edition yet, so write to us if you want to check yours first.
