Build contact lists, clean them before a send, bring event leads in without duplicates and see which lead sources turn into deals. The Zoho CRM AI Assistant does the CRM side, and changes records only once you approve.
Zoho CRM AI Assistant is a Chrome extension that opens beside Zoho CRM. Tell it what you want to do in plain language, and it works with your CRM for you. Try Plus free for 14 days, then stay on Free forever.
the problem
Before each send someone filters contacts, takes out the customers, checks who opted out and fixes the event list so it does not create duplicates. Afterwards someone asks which source brought the deals, and the answer is a report nobody had time to build.
the solution
The Zoho CRM AI Assistant is a Chrome extension that opens in a side panel next to Zoho CRM. You type what you need, such as “contacts at logistics accounts that are not customers yet”. It reads your leads, contacts, accounts, deals and campaigns, and shows you what it found and why.
It prepares the work inside Zoho CRM: it tags contacts, links them to a Campaign, creates leads from an event list or saves a custom view. Every change is shown to you first, and nothing is written until you approve it.

faq
It builds and checks lists in Zoho CRM: contacts by industry or other fields, prospects without current customers, lists without opted-out contacts, event leads without duplicates, and counts of leads and won deals by Lead Source. Each topic above lists the requests it handles, with the words to type.
No. It prepares and tags lists in Zoho CRM, and you send from the email tool you already use. It can send one email at a time from your own Zoho-approved address, logged on a record, and sending always asks you to confirm. That is for personal emails, not bulk sends: Zoho allows up to 100 a day per user.
Not unless you choose to. The side panel starts in Approve writes mode: it shows each change and writes nothing until you approve. Chat-only mode blocks writes altogether, and Full access is opt-in. A change to more than 20 records at once asks for a final confirmation.
Yes. It works from what your CRM recorded, so a contact whose account has no industry, or an unsubscribe recorded only in another tool, is invisible to it. It can also misread free text in notes. Review every list before you approve a change.
It needs a Zoho CRM edition and user profile with API access, and it can only do what your profile is allowed to do. The use cases have not been checked edition by edition yet, so write to us if you want to check yours first.
Yes. Paid plans include a connector that gives AI clients such as Claude and ChatGPT the same Zoho CRM tools. See AI clients for how to connect one.
