What is the Zoho CRM AI Assistant?
A Chrome extension that opens an AI assistant in a side panel next to Zoho CRM. You describe what you want in plain words, it reads your CRM and shows you the result, and it writes only after you approve.
Will it change my leads without asking?
Not in the default mode. The side panel starts in Approve writes: it shows each change, such as a task, a new owner or a tag, and writes nothing until you approve. Changing more than 20 records at once asks for a final confirmation.
Does it replace Zoho's assignment rules?
No. It changes owners for the leads you approve, once. For a rule that assigns every new lead automatically, use Zoho CRM's assignment rules; the assistant can help set those up too.
Can it be wrong?
Yes. It can miss contact that was never logged, and a match by email or company name can point to the wrong customer when names are similar. Review each list before you approve.
Will it work on my Zoho CRM edition?
It needs a Zoho CRM edition and user profile with API access, and it can only do what your profile is allowed to do. These use cases have not been checked edition by edition yet, so write to us if you want to check yours first.
