Find gaps in a deal before the next call in Zoho CRM

The Zoho CRM AI Assistant reads a deal's fields and history, lists what is still unknown, such as decision maker, budget, timeline or competitor, and drafts questions for your next call. Once you approve, it can save them as a note.

Zoho CRM AI Assistant is a Chrome extension that opens beside Zoho CRM. Tell it what you want to do in plain language, and it works with your CRM for you. Try Plus free for 14 days, then stay on Free forever.

the problem

You are about to call and cannot remember what you never asked

The deal has been open for weeks. You have talked to the client three times, but nobody asked who signs, whether the budget is approved or who else they are talking to. Finding the gaps means rereading every field and note on the deal.

the solution

Ask what is missing on the deal

Name the deal and the things you track:

Read the deal Warehouse renewal and its history. List what we still do not know, such as decision maker, budget, timeline and competitor. Draft questions for my next call. After I confirm, save them as a note on the deal.

It reads the deal's fields, such as Amount, Closing Date and any competitor or budget field your organization has, the contact roles on the deal, and its notes, calls and meetings. It lists each gap with the reason, for example "no contact role set" or "Amount is empty", and drafts a question for each.

The list is a draft for you. Edit or drop questions in your reply. If you ask, it saves the questions as a note on the deal, after you approve.

  • Reads the deal's fields, contact roles, notes, calls and meetings.
  • Writes one note, only if you ask and approve.
  • A field that does not exist in your org is not treated as a gap.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will it change my deal?

No. It reads the deal and drafts questions. The only write is a note with the questions, and only if you ask and approve. Deal fields, stage and amount are not edited.

What does it check?

The fields that exist on your Deals module, such as amount, closing date and a competitor field if you have one, plus the contact roles, notes, calls and meetings on the deal. Name the things your team tracks in the request, and it checks those.

Can it fill in the gaps it finds?

Not by guessing. Once you have the answers from the call, tell it the values and ask it to update the deal; that is a separate change you approve.

Can it be wrong?

It can list something as unknown that was answered in a call nobody logged, or in a note it reads differently from you. The reason is shown next to each gap, so you can drop the ones you already know.

Will it work on my Zoho CRM edition?

It needs a Zoho CRM edition and user profile with API access, and it can only do what your profile is allowed to do. This use case has not been checked edition by edition yet, so write to us if you want to check yours first.
