What is the Zoho CRM AI Assistant?
A Chrome extension that opens an AI assistant in a side panel next to Zoho CRM. You describe what you want in plain words, it reads your CRM configuration and shows you the result, and it changes security settings only after a final confirmation.
Will it change anyone's access without asking?
No. Every change to a profile, role, group or sharing rule asks for a final confirmation, even in Full access. Questions about who can see what only read.
Can it change the built-in profiles?
No. It changes only custom profiles and refuses Zoho's system profiles. To restrict a built-in profile such as Standard, it clones it first and changes the copy.
Who is affected when a profile changes?
Every user assigned to that profile. The confirmation names the profile, so check who uses it before you confirm.
Will it work on my Zoho CRM edition?
It needs a Zoho CRM edition and user profile with API access, and it can only do what your profile is allowed to do. Reading and changing security settings needs an administrator profile. These use cases have not been checked edition by edition yet, so write to us if you want to check yours first.
