What is the Zoho CRM AI Assistant?
A Chrome extension that opens an AI assistant in a side panel next to Zoho CRM. You describe what you want in plain words, it reads your CRM and shows you the result, and it changes your CRM only after you approve in the default mode.
Where are the notes stored?
With the assistant, not in Zoho CRM. Nothing in your CRM changes when a note is saved. Zoho stays the source for your data and configuration; the notes hold what things mean and how your team works.
Who can see the notes?
Notes saved for the organization are shared with colleagues in the same Zoho organization who use the same Zoho profile. Colleagues on another profile do not see them. Personal notes, such as your own preferences, stay with your account.
Can I change or remove a note?
Yes. Ask the assistant to change or remove it. Each change is kept as a revision with who made it and when, so an earlier version can be brought back.
What will it not save?
Passwords, keys and other secrets are refused. Notes are for meaning and rules, so it keeps customer records, contact details and day-to-day counts out of them; those stay in the CRM.
Will it work on my Zoho CRM edition?
It needs a Zoho CRM edition and user profile with API access, and it can only do what your profile is allowed to do. These use cases have not been checked edition by edition yet, so write to us if you want to check yours first.
