Frequently Asked Questions
What can it clean up in Zoho CRM?
Duplicate contacts, leads and accounts; contacts you cannot reach; inconsistent values in a field; deal amounts that look wrong after an import; contacts under the wrong account; tasks not linked to any record. It can also import a spreadsheet without overwriting what is already in the CRM, and find or restore deleted records. Each topic above lists the requests with the exact words to type.
Does it merge duplicates like Zoho’s Deduplicate?
No. It finds candidates that share the fields you choose, scanning up to 2,000 records at a time, and says when the scan was incomplete. Then it helps you keep the right values on one record and remove the extra one, which goes to the recycle bin. It does not merge history the way Zoho’s own merge does: notes, attachments and emails on the extra record are not moved with it.
Will it change my records without asking?
Not unless you choose to. The side panel starts in Approve writes mode: it shows each change and writes nothing until you approve. Chat-only mode blocks writes altogether, and Full access is opt-in. Deleting records and changing more than 20 records at once ask for a final confirmation.
Can I undo a delete?
Yes, for 60 days. Deleted records go to the Zoho CRM recycle bin, and the assistant can put them back exactly as they were. After 60 days Zoho removes them for good and nothing can bring them back.
Can it be wrong?
Yes. It matches on the fields you name, so two different people who share an office email look like duplicates, and one person with two emails does not. Review every group and list before you approve a change.
Will it work on my Zoho CRM edition?
It needs a Zoho CRM edition and user profile with API access, and it can only do what your profile is allowed to do. These use cases have not been checked edition by edition yet, so write to us if you want to check yours first.
