What is the Zoho CRM AI Assistant?
A Chrome extension that opens an AI assistant in a side panel next to Zoho CRM. You describe what you want in plain words, it reads your CRM configuration and shows you the change, and it changes it only after you approve in the default mode.
Will it change the data in my records?
No. Fields, layout rules and validation rules change the form and what can be saved. Existing values stay as they are; a new field starts empty on existing records.
Who is affected by these changes?
Everyone who uses that module's layout. A new mandatory field or validation rule applies to every user saving those records on that layout.
Can it delete a field?
It can, but deleting a field destroys its values in every record and cannot be undone. That always asks for a final confirmation, in every mode.
Will it work on my Zoho CRM edition?
It needs a Zoho CRM edition and user profile with API access, and it can only do what your profile is allowed to do. The number of custom fields and rules you can have depends on your edition. These use cases have not been checked edition by edition yet, so write to us if you want to check yours first.
